Azores: 7 Springs Park/
Azores: 7 Springs Park
Place: Sete Fontes
Photo: Foto Nóbrega

Situated on the north west end of the island of São Jorge, the Sete Fontes Forest Park enables visitors to see a wide variety of plants and indigenous vegetation as well as being an invigorating leisure area.

In the Sete Fontes Park, the coolness of the groves of cryptomerias, the exotic appearance of the giant ferns and the colours of the azaleas invite visitors to take a stroll in a setting of tranquillity and enjoy views over the north coast from the look-out.

The forest parks at Silveira (near Ribeira Seca in the central part of the island) and Sete Fontes are ideal spots for getting together and relaxing with family and friends.
We are sure that the beauty of the surroundings, with play areas for children and ideal spots for picnicking, is another reason to visit the island of São Jorge and enjoy the irresistible appeal exerted by nature in the islands of the Azores.
