The Bragança Military Museum was founded in 1932 by colonel António José Teixeira, commander of the 10th Infantry Regiment that had been barracked in the citadel since the mid 19th century.
The exhibits come from the private collection of António José Teixeira and pieces donated by soldiers who had served in Bragança based military units, particularly in Africa and in France during World War One.
The museum can be found on three floors of the Bragança Keep. |
