Like Madeira, the island of Porto Santo is volcanic in origin, but with relatively flat terrain.

The island’s south coast is dominated by the nine kilometres of golden sand that form the beach of Porto Santo, one of the most beautiful in Europe.

The dry and settled climate makes the beach an option all year round, thanks to the sea temperature.
