Should you wish to improve your accuracy on the green, there are various pitch & putt courses across the region including the Colina Verde, part of the Maragota resort, with fabulous views out over the river Formosa and Hills beyond, as well as the Balaia Golf Village in Albufeira. Furthermore, there are other nine hole courses, with pars between 3 and 5 that do not require any handicap certificate to play. These include the Campos Resort and Academy at the Le Meridien Penina and the deservedly famous Pine Cliffs course in the Sheraton Hotel Resort.
