Portugal provides the perfect holiday destination for people who love water sports.

Aside from admiring their scenery by boat, the reservoirs of Caniçada, Montargil and Castelo do Bode enable you to try the high adrenalin sports of water skiing and wakeboarding.

It’s also much easier to travel up the Douro, Sado, Mira and Guadiana rivers by motorboat or jet ski. Up or down river, a motor powered journey on one of Portugal’s waterways will give enjoyment to the whole family.

Jet skis are a particularly fun choice for exploring the coastline.
On the beaches of the Algarve, you can rent one for the afternoon and get to know Portugal’s southern coast a bit better. In Portimão and Vilamoura, there is also the possibility of renting a floating apartment. The Algarve coast is famously beautiful, and renting a motorboat to stay on for a few days could be just the right choice if you’re seeking some peace and quiet while on holiday.
