Walking in Arrábida
Place: Arrábida

Walk the footpaths of one of the most beautiful hill ranges in Portugal, experience the stunning landscapes of the Arrábida Natural Park.

Only a half hour car drive from Lisbon, the regions’ footpaths take you right through the centre of the Serra da Arrábida, with its fantastic landscapes and abundant vegetation between land and sea.

Put on a pair of sturdy walking boots, pack your lunch, and discover some of the hidden corners of these hills that swoop right down to the Atlantic.

Enjoy the striking landscapes as you walk the paths.

Discover the Capuchin monastery in the middle of the forest.
In Setúbal marina, take a trip on a traditional salt galleon out onto the Sado estuary or along the Arrábida coastline.

In Vila Nogueira de Azeitão, try some of the justly famous and delicious cheeses and visit one of the local producers to find out how they are made.

Be sure you also pick up a couple of bottles of Muscatel before heading back to your hotel.
