Want to try out something new and break with routine – why not spend a few days away from home: the perfect solution awaits you in Portugal!
Here’s a suggestion: treat yourself to a long weekend, and visit Lisbon and Oporto: in the autumn sunlight they have a special charm. Go for a long walk, relax on an esplanade or discover excellent restaurants and art galleries, amazing shops and plenty of museums and monuments.
While in Lisbon, visit the National Palace of Ajuda and marvel at the temporary exhibition from the Hermitage Museum. If you prefer, set off in discovery of Oporto! Did you know that the old trams are once again circulating in the city? In Evora, listen to the enchanting “Winter Music” concerts. If you prefer stronger emotions, travel to Portimão and watch the Algarve Casinos Rally.
To conclude, we suggest a visit to Funchal to watch the inauguration of the Christmas lights …and why not book a room for the New Year festivities! Now you know, you only need 3 or 4 days and all this awaits you... in Portugal! |
