North Canyon Tow in Trials

Praia do Norte is a location where the conditions are often too big and unpredictable to paddle into.

That's why it was developed a sports concept (North Canyon Tow-In Trials), in which the competitors will be using jet skis to track down the waves and ride them. The jet ski driver will tow the surfer and when he is in the right spot the surfer will let go of the rope and surf the wave. When he is finished riding or has wiped out the jet ski will pick him up, take him back out and the surfer will ride another wave or they will switch roles..
