The Graciosa Museum in its long-running exhibition presents a sample of the most common rocks and minerals existing in the islands of the Azores, where they excel the basalt, the slag, the traquito, the pomp stones and the clay. These rock and mineral samples represent thousands of years of Earth's geological history and are very important for the study and knowledge of the Earth Sciences.
