This exhibition presents works by Pedro Gouveia and works by other artists, some renowned, that he has acquired over the decades.
Self-taught, very early on he developed a particular taste for the plastic arts, a reflection of a sensitivity perhaps inherited from his mother. The cultural diversity of the peoples he met "from the burning African tropics to temperate Europe" was an inspiration for his works.
