Global pop sensation Ava Max is coming to Portugal for the first time in her own name with a one-off concert at Lisbon's Coliseu dos Recreios on 18 May.

Amanda Ava Koci is one of the pop music sensations of the moment, with countless hit singles, collaborations with industry giants and platinum certification from the RIAA on her debut album Heaven & Hell (2020).

In 2022, Ava releases Diamonds & Dancefloors her second album, featuring the standout single "Million Dollar Baby", which garnered 10 million streams and 8 million views in just two weeks after release and has amassed over 108 million global streams. Hailed by PAPER as "an euphoric euro dance number", Right now the music video has over 29 million views on YouTube. The second album also includes recent releases "Cold As Ice" and "One of Us", the 80s disco track "Dancing's Done", the powerful "Weapons" and the self-titled "Maybe You're The Problem".

The album was written by herself alongside an elite cast of GRAMMYs®-winning writers and producers, and sold out the showcase concert last February 2 at the famed Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles within minutes.

2023 proves very fruitful for Ava who already boasts a stellar performance on CNN's New Year's Eve Live and an exclusive article in Rolling Stone, which said, "Max's vocals shine on 'Ghost' as she sings about 'feeling haunted' by her ex, between shimmering synth lines. On 'Hold Up, Wait a Minute', Max questions her partner's connection to a past love in a disco-laden song. And on the most emotional song on the project, 'One of Us', which starts as a ballad but turns into an empowering anthem about coming to terms with the end of a relationship."
