According to music lovers, there has never been a period in the history of music as rich as the 20th century. This concert promises to listen to music from three different countries and decades: from the Frenchman Jean Françaix we hear music written in 1948, characterized by its vivacity. Next, with the British Gustav Holst we go to 1903, to the dawn of the new century. The concert ends with the brilliance of György Ligeti, Hungarian composer, who, with his Six Bagatelles for wind quintet, rewrites his famous cycle of piano pieces, Music Ricercata. This is music written in 1953.
