"Advertisements with History:1938-1965" is the new exhibition open to the public at Casa Sommer. It is based on a selection of the precious collection of posters preserved in the Municipal Historical Archive of Cascais.
These posters were displayed all over the municipality, in order to attract, by their large size and careful design, potential buyers for the most varied type of products. Many of them still persist in the memory of the Portuguese and are the result of a time when images and the press were the main means of advertising communication.
They can be appreciated and remembered until 1 October 2023.
