On 4 November, it will be exactly 100 years since the discovery of Pharaoh Tutankhamen's tomb. On the same day, the exhibition Tutankhamen in Portugal. Reports in the Portuguese press (1922-1939).
Following the research project that, since 2016, has studied the impact of this incomparable archaeological discovery on the national press and the resulting effects on Portuguese cultural production, the researchers responsible (both Portuguese Egyptologists) - Professor José das Candeias Sales and Doctor Susana Mota - have taken on the position of curators of the exhibition, in collaboration with the team from the National Library, in order to mark the commemoration of a centenary that is being marked all over the world.
