Casa do Design hosts the exhibition To Be Eternal It Is Just Enough to Be a Book – Editorial and Design of the book in Portugal in the twentieth century and invites us to travel through books and their covers, crossing the twentieth century in a broad overview of the world of publishing, illustration and design of the Portuguese book.

In this exhibition, you will have contact with the publishing world in Portugal, through a wide selection of books of different literary genres and formats that reveal authors, designers, illustrators and typographers. Fragile and delicate objects, the books that can be seen in this exhibition were, for the most part, produced before we were born and will endure far beyond us.
