Between the 6th and 8th of December, the Jazz Festival will take place at the Centro Cultural de Belém, which starts with the premiere of Sarab in Portugal.

The lineup includes the presentation of the trio Sonic Tender and the duo that brings together the Greek singer Savina Yannatou and the pianist Joana Sá. Nordic jazz arrives by the hand of Andrea Hauge Trio and the duo of English saxophonist Andy Sheppard and American pianist Aaron Parks mark their debut. There is also Jazz, Hip-Hop and Spoken-Word by Jazzopa and the national debut of the trio of Tunisian Wajdi Riahi. Joining the lineup are vibraphonist Duarte Ventura, who debuts his nonet Reperio, and the Ensemble Festa do Jazz, this year led by saxophonist João Mortágua, with Bernardo Tinoco (saxophone), Clara Saleiro (flute), José Diogo Martins (piano), Francisco Brito (double bass), João Pereira (drums).

The Jazz Festival program also includes the National Meeting of Schools at the Coach Museum, the presentation of the Jazz Panorama Portugal project and the annual RTP / Jazz Festival Awards.
