The fourth edition of Vila Real de Santo António Setecentista takes place between May 13 and 17, 2026, and offers a journey into the past in an atmosphere and setting that takes you back many centuries in time.

During these days, the historic center will be transformed into a grand 18th century setting, highlighting Vila Real de Santo António's Pombaline heritage and Enlightenment identity. You can expect shows, entertainment, markets and banquets, where you can learn about the daily life of the town in the 18th century. The animation depicts historical episodes or everyday scenes: from music to theater to dance. There's also plenty of food, crafts and entertainment for the little ones.
