Igreja de São Boaventura
The Church of São Boaventura is located in a former Franciscan convent, built in 1641.
The church has a baroque façade. The interior includes the main chapel covered in woodwork of Mexican and Hispanic influence, and a cedarwood ceiling with allegorical and vegetalist paintings, and a 16th century altarpiece representing the Annunciation.
This is one of the most important monuments in Santa Cruz das Flores, and has been classified as a “building of public interest”.
