Portugal, first European country to receive the 'Safe Travels' seal from WTTC

Portugal was voted the World’s Leading Destination for the third consecutive year in 2019’s World Travel Awards, held on 28 November in Oman. This award reinforced the Europe's Leading Destination that the country had already won in June. The 26th edition of the European World Travel Awards for 2019 was held in Madeira, at Belmond Reid's Palace.
