The Michelin Guide revealed the restaurants distinguished by the excellence of their cuisine and service, at the Michelin Stars ceremony for 2023 that took place yesterday in Toledo. Portugal, first European country to receive the 'Safe Travels' seal from WTTC
This seal aims to recognize destinations that comply with health and hygiene protocols in line with the Safe Travel Protocols issued by the WTTC, helping, above all, to instill confidence in consumers, so that they feel they can travel safely as soon as restrictions are raised. Turismo de Portugal certifies establishments with “Clean & Safe” stamp

Portugal, World's Leading Destination
Portugal was voted the World’s Leading Destination for the third consecutive year in 2019’s World Travel Awards, held on 28 November in Oman. This award reinforced the Europe's Leading Destination that the country had already won in June. Turismo de Portugal was considered the World's Leading Tourist Board, also for the third consecutive year.
