26ª Music Season of São Roque in several monuments of Lisbon
The 26th edition of the Music Season at São Roque reaffirms values that have inspired its program, namely the support to the diffusion of Portuguese music, old and contemporary, along with a redoubled incentive for the discovery of the relevant architectural and artistic heritage of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa.
In this season, the Monastery of Santos-o-Novo and the Convent of São Pedro de Alcântara are gathered to the privileged scenarios of the Church and Museum of São Roque, opened to the public, not only for these concerts, but also for guided visits.
Throughout the twelve concerts that compose the program of this year, works of various periods are presented, which extend from Gregorian chant to music of composers of our present times.
Due to the belief that Culture promotes social cohesion and serves the promotion of Man, santa Casa da Misericórdia awaits for you in this voyage through the world of music and the appreciation of heritage sites.
Concerts at the Museum, Church of São Roque and at the Convent of São Pedro de Alcântara
Tickets are available at the reception desk of the Museum of São Roque, on concert day, from 10am to 30 minutes before the beginning of the concert.
9th November – no provision of tickets for the general public.
Concerts at the Monastery of Santos-o-Novo
Tickets are available at the reception desk of the Museum of São Roque, on concert day, from 10am to 2:30pm, and at the place of the event, from 2pm to 30 minutes before the beginning of the concert.
