Cascais, a place to discover. One third of the municipality of Cascais is located in protected areas forming part of the Sintra-Cascais Nature Park (SCNP) and of the Natura 2000 Network. Cascais is a municipality with a rich and diverse landscape. It offers a set of outdoor activities between the sea and the hills, allowing direct contact with nature and the involvement of visitors in experiences in which they get to know something about the natural and cultural values of this region. The activities undertaken by the Municipality of Cascais are intended to serve nature tourism/ ecotourism in an integrated manner, contributing to the conservation of natural values and to providing people with a unique and unforgettable experience.
