Santo António Golf

Golfe Santo António was designed by the distinguished Spanish architect Pepe Gancedo, whose philosophy centres on working with the natural terrain rather than reshaping it. The result is a course that sits effortlessly within its surroundings — golf played in complete harmony with nature.

As the westernmost course in the Algarve, Golfe Santo António unfolds across the rolling hills above the traditional fishing village of Salema, within easy reach of the historic city of Lagos and close to the unspoilt beauty of the Reserva Natural da Costa Vicentina.

Set within a valley that winds gracefully through the landscape, the course features gently undulating fairways and elevated tees that offer sweeping views across countryside and coastline. Formerly known as Parque da Floresta, it has earned a reputation as a compelling and scenic test of golf, having previously hosted the prestigious EuroPro Tour.

The 18-hole layout (Par 71), measuring 5,712 metres, presents a thoughtful blend of technical precision and strategic play, ensuring an engaging challenge for golfers of all abilities. Facilities include a driving range, golf academy, dedicated practice areas, putting green and well-stocked pro shop.
