Tours and Other Tourism Services

My name is João Mendes, I am a certified guide, freelancer, registered with RNAAT (954/2025). I am originally from Coimbra. I hold a degree in Anthropology and a Master's in Management and Programming of Cultural Heritage from the University of Coimbra.  

I conduct walking tours on different themes, especially in the Coimbra region (but not only there). I take pride in contributing to providing magnificent experiences. My tours are primarily designed for private bookings. However, I am also available to host groups and customized requests.  

The "standard" tours are as follows: Conímbriga, the largest and best-preserved Roman city in Portugal (archaeological site + museum + Roman amphitheater ruins) - 3h; Jewish Coimbra - 2h; Traditions and Shopping through the Historic Center of Coimbra - 3h; Coimbra: University, Alta and Baixa - 3h; Miranda do Corvo Biological Park and Walkway - 4h30; Archaeological Tour of Lisbon - 3h; Tour through the Historic Center of Lisbon - 3h Tour of Porto's Historic Center - 3h. 

Visits can be conducted in English, Portuguese, or Spanish
