Jewish Museum of Belmonte

The Jewish Museum of Belmonte was inaugurated in 2005; this cultural facility on Jewish heritage and identity has an exhibition focusing on the experience of Judaism in Belmonte, on the forms created by practices hidden by fear.

Prayers, utensils and habits are the way to convey the fundamental message: this is a museum of a living community, which acts, thinks and equates Judaism in the first person.

With a space for conferences and debates, the museum is more than just a place to visit, it is also a space open to reflection, where numerous cultural and academic initiatives aim to promote knowledge about Jewish culture, heritage and religion.
