River beach

With an extensive sandy beach, the Albergaria dos Fusos River Beach is located in the reservoir of the dam with the same name, near Vila Ruiva, in the municipality of Cuba.

This river beach, with fine white sand, is a very pleasant place for moments of leisure in contact with nature. It has two floating pools, one for adults and another for children, and good amenities that includes a football and handball field, a beach volleyball court and a bar/restaurant.

The beach is part of the Central Alentejo Ecopark, which will soon include a nautical centre for non-polluting sports, a service area for motorhomes, a cycling centre and a birdwatching tower.
