Quinta do Belo-Ver
Quinta do Belo-Ver is located in the historical village of Belver, on the north bank of the Tagus River, in the transition area between the provinces of Beira-Baixa, Ribatejo and Alto-Alentejo.
Famous by its medieval and magnificient castle, Belver was donated by the portuguese king Sancho 1st to the Hospital Religious Order. It had a significant role during the Christian Reconquest.
Besides its historical and monumental importance, Belver is known by its magnificient landscape in the Tagus valley region and also by its gastronomy.
