Part of the narrowest stretch of the cordon of sand separating Ria Formosa from the sea, Terra Estreita Beach is a very peaceful, virtually untouched area. The beach, however, has good support infrastructure including nets for playing football and volleyball.

This bathing area is only accessible by boat, in a 5-minute ride from the quayside in Santa Luzia, a town well known to gourmets for its restaurants, among the most celebrated in the region.
