Aljezur represents the perfect base from which to set off and explore the marvellous beaches of the western Algarve including Vale dos Homens, a true oasis of calm and beauty. Closed off to both the north and south by tall cliffs, the Beach is off the main tourist routes and an excellent choice for those preferring a little quiet and isolation.

Popular among surfers, given the regular incidence of strong waves, and naturists, the Beach has a lifeguard throughout the official bathing season.
