1st Wine and Flavours Film Festival

Based on the idea that a good wine always has an interesting story behind it, and a good film too, the Lisbon Hotel and Tourism School is organising the first staging of a film festival devoted to wine growing and Portuguese flavours from 28th to 31st January 2015. 

It is well known that internationally renowned directors and actors, such as Francis Ford Coppola and Gerard Depardieu, are great lovers, connoisseurs and producers of wine, along with the many Portuguese personalities from the arts and show business who also have an involvement with wine.

It was from this relationship that the idea arose of bringing together the best of Portuguese wines with Portuguese and international audio-visual production, and to set young directors and students of hospitality, tourism and oenology the challenge of presenting short or feature-length fictional films.
