Companhia das Culturas is an a organic farm in the south east point of Algarve, on the S. Bartolomeu village and the Nature Reserve of Castro Marim, just 1,5km far from the beach Praia Verde. The houses were adapted by Arch. Pedro Ressano Garcia to receive visitors [9 rooms and 4 apartments] in a simultaneously sophisticated and rural ambience. In keeping with the environment, solar energy is used as well as residual waters and although there is no television nor music, but provide an Internet Wireless System. In the Cork-Box, an old garage for a threshing machine that now is completely lined with cork, we offer daily yoga classes. In the Hamam we propose a diverse menu of wellness treatments and health. Finally, in our restaurant - Alma Brava - we create a gastronomy in symbiosis with our organic vegetable garden, the fish from the coast and local meat, which we call the Portuguese diet.
We offer special conditions for groups and retreats.
