The Amares Fair is back between May 16 and 18. This is one of the oldest and most traditional events in the region, promoting local products and traditions.

This event showcases local products and celebrates the identity, traditions, and roots of the municipality of Amares. Highlights include the D. Gualdim Pais Parade, with participants dressed in Templar costumes, the Children's Fair, the Giant Orange Cake, and the Horse Race. There are also local product competitions, exhibitions of maypoles, scarecrows and handicrafts, folklore, and lots of musical entertainment. The musical lineup includes names such as Hélder Batista and Cláudia Martins & Minhotos Marotos.
