In July, Vimeiro, in the municipality of Lourinhã, will host a historical re-enactment of the battle that took place in 1808 and a 19th century market.
The organized activities will allow you to travel back to the early 19th century, where you can find crafts from the time, street entertainment, theater, concerts, visits to the Interpretation Centre of the Battle of Vimeiro, and the display and sale of local products and cuisine. An event that reveals part of the history that marked the second restoration of Portugal's independence.
