Curated by Joana Valsassina, this exhibition is part of the Serralves Collection's Traveling Exhibition Program. The show brings together a set of works by Priscila Fernandes belonging to the Serralves Collection and the artist's own collection, revealing different approaches to one of the central themes in her practice: the dialectical relationship between work and leisure.
The exhibition was designed for the Lagos Cultural Center, promoting reflection on issues broadly associated with the historical and current context of the city, the region, and the country. Since 2006, the artist has been developing multidisciplinary work that also integrates video, performance, installation, photography, and publications.
