Events

Penela is once again hosting the annual São Miguel Festivities in September. Originating in 1433, São Miguel, or the Nut Fair, today also includes a very special event, FAGRIP - the Penela Agricultural and Industrial Fair.

The program is vast and designed for all ages. As well as the usual musical shows, there will be fashion shows, sports competitions, gastronomy, folklore, taverns and much more. An event that is a true mirror of what is best in the region, whether in social, economic or cultural terms.
