In 2010, Wavves released "King of the Beach" and quickly became one of the most talked about names on the independent scene. This was the album that put them at the center of the musical zeitgeist. The ground was already fertile in this context, and Nathan Williams' project seemed a natural consequence of its time. Fifteen years later, the scenario is different: the fever that surrounded them has dissipated and the band itself has undergone profound changes. Today, Wavves have left behind their punk adolescence to embrace an assumed maturity, expressed in the power-pop that marks "Spun", their new album and their first since 2021.
