Gabriel Gomes performs for the first time in his own name with Uma História Assim, an instrumental album born from the deep relationship he has had with the accordion for decades.

In a mostly solo record, with the participation of Rodrigo Leão in the title song, he constructs a musical narrative where performer and instrument are confused. Produced by Gabriel Gomes, Rodrigo Leão and João Eleutério, the album will arrive in 2026. With a career that began in the 1980s, he was a member of Sétima Legião and founded Madredeus, explored electronics in Projecto Om and Tjak, created Os Poetas and collaborated widely. Uma História Assim celebrates an intimate return to the accordion.
