One of the most anticipated moments of the year, the Month of the Eel, is scheduled for the month of March in Salvaterra.

This year's edition will be marked by restaurants, accommodation spaces, tour operators with boat trips on the Tagus River, wine and liqueur producers, the official Bom Sucesso rice, the National Handicraft and Traditional Products Fair with about a hundred artisans and producers, exhibitions and a vast program of initiatives.
