The Douro Knowledge and Flavors Festival is returning to São João da Pesqueira for two weekends: February 28/March 1, and March 7-8.

Organized by the Municipality of São João da Pesqueira, this event promotes the best of what is done in this beautiful region. In the various traditional taverns you can sample a variety of regional dishes, not forgetting the delicious smoked meats. The festival also sees the participation of various artisans, who work live with different materials, showcasing the arts and crafts of yesteryear and preserving the region's collective memory.
