Events

This year's edition of the Wine Alvarinho and Smokehouse Festival of Melgaço takes place between May 1st and 3rd. If you like food and wine, this is an event you can't miss, with product tastings, gastronomic days and taverns with some of the county's most typical dishes.

This event, which began in 1995, started out as a small local showcase of products, but over the years it has grown into a major event, attracting thousands of people from all over the country and neighboring Galicia.
