Established in 2000, the EDP Foundation Collection is today one of the largest and most diversified institutional collections of contemporary art in Portugal, bringing together around 2,500 works by more than 340 artists, from the 1970s and 1980s to the most recent generations, with special attention to artists born after the 1974 Revolution. Recognized for its historical and critical relevance, the collection reveals the diversity of artistic languages and practices in the country.

The exhibition at MAAT Central presents around 100 works, in two stages, in a continuous montage until 2027, guided by contemporary spatial, aesthetic and conceptual dialog.
