In 2026, the "Rampa do Caramulo" will continue to be on the calendar of the JC Group Portuguese Mountain Championship. This season, which has eight races, the classic Beira race closes the championship on October 24 and 25.

The first edition of “Rampa do Caramulo” took place in 1979, making it one of the oldest and most emblematic races in national motorsport. In 2026, the competition will return for its 35th edition, maintaining its status as a benchmark within the championship and Portuguese motorsport. The race is now organized by the Caramulo Racing Team, with the support of the Municipality of Tondela.
