Evita is one of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's most iconic musicals, presented as a rock opera about the rise and fall of Eva Perón.

The story follows Eva Duarte, an ambitious young woman who leaves the Argentine countryside for Buenos Aires, where she builds a career marked by power, charisma and controversy. When she married Juan Perón, she became First Lady and a symbol of hope for the people, but also the target of strong criticism. Narrated by Che, a critical voice in the action, the work culminates in Eva's premature death at the age of 33, when she was already a mythical figure. Premiered in 1978 in London, the musical achieved huge international success and many memorable performances.
