This is a classical ballet of great dramatic and visual intensity, with music by Adolphe Adam and choreography by Marius Petipa.

The book follows the corsair Conrad and the young Medora in a narrative marked by adventure, romance and confrontations on the high seas. Renowned for its action scenes, emblematic slave dances and high technical virtuosity, the show combines energy, elegance and emotion. Founded in 2017 by Viktor Ishchuk, a former soloist at the Kiev Opera, the Kiev Ballet brings together some of the most outstanding Ukrainian dancers. The company has already given more than 700 international performances, winning over audiences and critics in several countries, including Portugal.
