The UTAX – Ultra Trail of the Aldeias do Xisto returns on October 16, 17 and 18, 2026 for its 8th edition, with its epicentre in Castanheira de Pêra, at Praça da Notabilidade.
The highlight of the event is the 110 km ultramarathon, but it also includes the Serra da Lousã Trail, the Xisto Trail, an introductory trail running race and a walk. Reinforcing its inclusive and community dimension, the program also includes AXtrail Kids, aimed at youngsters, and AXtrail Inclusion, designed for people with reduced mobility. A weekend dedicated to sport and nature.
