The Danish duo Svaneborg Kardyb, consisting of Nikolaj Svaneborg (keyboards) and Jonas Kardyb (drums and percussion), has developed a unique musical language that blends jazz minimalism, Nordic musical influences, and subtle grooves. Winners of two Danish Music Awards for Jazz in 2019 (in the categories of Best New Artist and Composer of the Year) they have been making a name for themselves internationally through the way they balance contemplation and rhythmic energy. At Misty Fest, they will present *Superkilen*, an album that expands their sonic universe through luminous and introspective compositions, exploring the tensions between memory and discovery, tradition and renewal.

Meanwhile, Vega Trails (a project by bassist and composer Milo Fitzpatrick, a member of the Portico Quartet, in collaboration with saxophonist Jordan Smart) presents *Sierra Tracks*. Following their debut with *Tremors in the Static* (2022), the group draws inspiration from the Guadarrama Mountains in Spain to create cinematic soundscapes. The compositions explore the relationship between mental processes and nature, inviting listeners to engage in a contemplative and immersive listening experience. At Misty Fest, these projects reveal distinct yet equally evocative and sensory worlds.
