The Coliseu Porto Ageas presents a new production of "Rigoletto," one of the most memorable works in the opera repertoire.

With music by Giuseppe Verdi, the opera follows Rigoletto, the court jester of the Duke of Mantua, and his relationship with his daughter Gilda, in a drama marked by power, seduction, revenge, love, and loss.
The score includes some of Verdi's most famous moments, such as "La donna è mobile," and combines dramatic intensity with passages of great lyricism. This new production, commissioned by Ópera na Academia e na Cidade, will have its world premiere on October 29 and will be presented with subtitles in Portuguese and English.
