Estremoz is hosting another edition of Cozinha dos Ganhões - the Alentejo Gastronomy Festival.

Dedicated to the culinary specialties of this municipality, this event offers the chance to sample flavors from the Alentejo region, such as traditional soups seasoned with aromatic herbs and a wide variety of dishes and appetizers made with pork, lamb, and hunting. There are also several booths featuring handicrafts, wines, sausages, cheeses, and olive oil from Estremoz, as well as performances by folk dance troupes, Alentejo choral groups, traditional music, folk poets, concertina players, and authentic fado.
