Under the Spinario's Gaze: Works by Noé Sendas in the Serralves Collection
Events
With a multidisciplinary career that spans photography, video, installation, and sculpture, Noé Sendas (Brussels, 1972) has developed a body of work characterized by an interest in the body and its performative relationship with the spaces we inhabit.
His works explore the boundaries between reality and fiction, autobiography and mystery, drawing on references from literature, film, theater, and music. The exhibition brings together works from the Serralves Foundation Collection, the Leal Rios Collection (on loan), and the artist’s own collection. Curated by Luís Pinto Nunes and coordinated by Carlos Magalhães, it is part of the Serralves Collection’s Traveling Exhibitions Program, bringing this collection to audiences in different regions of the country.
