The Alentejo Walking Festival invites you to discover the region on foot, through a network of marked hiking trails that wind through landscapes, historic villages, and areas of great natural beauty. Organized by the Alentejo and Ribatejo Regional Tourism Board, the festival aims to revitalize and establish the Alentejo as a hiking destination, encouraging people to go hiking and discover the region’s heritage, culture, and biodiversity.

Amid train tracks and breathtaking scenery, participants discover a peaceful and intimate way to explore different parts of the Alentejo and experience the region’s diversity at their own pace.
