The Soares dos Reis National Museum presents this installation by Catarina Leitão, which was developed based on research into the museum’s collection.
Inspired by the literary world of Ursula K. Le Guin, the exhibition explores the relationship between nature and culture, bringing together historical objects, materials, and contemporary works. Ceramics, paintings, and plant and animal motifs intertwine with the artist’s sculptures, creating a dialogue between organic and industrial materials, the natural and the artificial. The installation extends into the garden, challenging the boundaries between nature and human-made structures.
